Afras Environmental Services, as a licensed waste management service provider and transporter, adopts this policy to govern the issuance, use, and control of the Waste Transfer Manifest for all hazardous waste and concrete waste handled by the company. The Waste Transfer Manifest is the official document required to track the generation, transport, and delivery of waste in compliance with Saudi environmental regulations. Each manifest issued by Afras carries a unique serial number and an embedded QR code to ensure authenticity, traceability, and protection against tampering or duplication. The manifest must accompany every waste shipment from the point of generation until final receipt at an approved treatment, recycling, or disposal facility.

Under this policy, waste generators are required to provide accurate information on waste type, classification, and quantity and to ensure that all waste is packaged, labeled, and marked in compliance with applicable standards. Afras, acting as the transporter, verifies the details of the shipment, signs for acceptance, and assumes full responsibility for the safe and compliant transport of the waste. Upon delivery, Afras coordinates with the receiving facility to inspect the shipment, confirm receipt, and document any discrepancies.

The waste generator must retain signed copies of the manifest, Afras as the transporter, and the receiving facility for no less than five years. Afras maintains the master record of all manifests in its compliance system, which can be verified at any time through the QR code on the document. Any spillage, leakage, or discrepancy during transport or upon receipt must be reported immediately to Afras Environmental Services’ Environmental Compliance Department, which is responsible for investigation and corrective action. Fraudulent, falsified, or incomplete manifests are strictly prohibited under this policy.

All Afras personnel and contractors involved in waste handling, transport, and manifest documentation are required to undergo mandatory training and periodic refreshers on safe practices and compliance requirements. This policy will be reviewed annually by the Afras Environmental Compliance Department to ensure continued alignment with Saudi laws, client requirements, and environmental best practices. Afras Environmental Services affirms its commitment to accountability, authenticity, and full regulatory compliance through this policy in the management and transportation of hazardous waste and concrete waste under the Waste Transfer Manifest system.
