Afras Recognized ID Card Policy

1. Purpose

This policy establishes the official standards for the design, issuance, and use of employee identification cards at Afras Trading & Contracting Co. The purpose is to ensure uniformity, authenticity, security, and professional presentation of Afras employees, in line with company and client requirements (e.g., Neom projects).

2. Scope

This policy applies to all Afras employees, contractors, and affiliates who are issued company identification cards. Any ID card that does not conform to the approved format is considered invalid and will not be recognized by Afras.

3. Approved Format

All Afras ID cards must follow the format below without modification:

  • Card Size & Layout: 86 mm (height) × 54 mm (width), vertical orientation.
  • Logos: The Neom logo is at the top-left; the Afras logo is at the top-right.
  • Employee Photograph: Passport-size, full-color, centered below the logos.
  • Employee Data (under photo):
    • Name (bold)
    • ID Number (Afras reference number)
    • Designation (job title)
    • HSE Inducted on (Held date of card)
    • Blood Group (for medical emergencies)
  • QR Code: Centered below employee data for verification and digital validation.
  • Footer Bar: Dark blue strip with white text containing the company name and service line:
    “AFRAS TRADING & CONTRACTING CO.—Waste Management Services.
  • Typography: Arial or Helvetica, font size 8–9 pt. Bold labels with regular details.
  • Colors: White background, Afras blue footer, black text, and Neom and Afras official logos in full color.

4. Security Features

  • Unique QR code linked to the Afras verification system.
  • Official Afras and Neom logos; unauthorized use or alteration is prohibited.
  • Lamination allows us to prevent tampering and extend durability.
  • Cards must be printed in high resolution with bleed-safe printing.

5. Usage Guidelines

  • ID cards remain the property of Afras and must be surrendered upon request, resignation, or termination.
  • Employees must always wear their ID card visibly while on duty or inside project premises.
  • Lost or damaged cards must be reported immediately to HR/Admin for reissuance.
  • Cards are non-transferable and cannot be altered, defaced, or used by anyone other than the intended recipient.

6. Enforcement

  • Any ID card not matching the approved format will not be recognized by Afras or its clients.
  • Non-compliance (use of unauthorized ID cards, tampering, or duplication) will result in disciplinary action.
  • Security and client site access may be denied if the ID card does not comply with this policy.
